Private Instruction / Lessons

Venue: 6th District, near Westbahnhof Fee: 55 Euros per unit (1 unit = 50 minutes)

This also applies to scheduled lessons that were not cancelled or postponed at least 48 hours before – fees will be charged.

House visits are possible depending on the availability of a free slot.

Fee: Negotiated price

Semester Block (September to January or February to June):15 units for 750 Euros

This means that piano lessons are held at a fixed weekly time slot, for example: every Wednesday at 2:10 PM to 3:00 PM.

I recommend this fixed timeslot option especially for children. This way, piano lessons are scheduled whether or not one has practiced. Regular practice at home is important, but everyone feels lazy once in a while or does not have the time, etc.

Missing or avoiding piano lessons is not rewarding. I find it good for students to regularly attend piano lessons as this way, one stays in constant contact with the piano and the music. Something creative would always come to the teacher’s mind to spend the time sensibly.

Fifteen (15) units are guaranteed in one semester. Additionally included is the evening presentation or recital at the end of the school year. Here the student has the opportunity to present and perform what he/she has learned in an informal and comfortable setting.
